Canada Day in Beijing - The Sustainability Symbol and Green Beijing Olympics
This year Canada Day is going to be Celebrated on June 29th in Beijing (instead of July 1st), so make your way to the Canadian International School of Beijing for the celebrations organized by the Canada China Business Council!
In the modern-day ”Spirit of Bethune” (a Canadian doctor, revered in China, if you didn’t know already..) here are some fun images of “Cool to be Canadian” founder Philip McMaster who now lives in Beijing.
After the successes of “Cool to be Canadian”, a non-profit organization founded in 1992, Philip has a new world mission that he has started in China - the focus is SUSTAINABILITY, and the method is sharing the 3 finger “Peace Plus One” Sustainability Symbol.
Philip often wears his ”Cool to be Canadian Maple Leaf Hat” to draw attention to the “Peace Plus One” 3 finger message of Canadians and others in the world who are “part of the solution” - supporting Peace, Unity (One-ness) and a Lifestyle Of Health And Sustainability (LOHAS) to save the one world we share.
