  5. Low carbon economy or green economy is branding a totally different lifestyle that encourages simplicity, responsibility and efficiency. Consumer choices will be greatly influenced by increasing emphasis placed on green products and green lifestyle. This opens up the door for the creation of a variety of new businesses and industries.

    For financial institutions, new credit cards could be designed to measure the carbon cost of the products and provide incentives for low-carbon products through financial tools.

    For manufacturing, low-carbon products mean global standards and something that is highly desirable to the new generation of customers.

    For agencies, one important component of PR could really be how to brand companies as a green choice.

    For companies, the greenness of their image will deliver an image of responsibility that appeals to more consumers.

  9. In the UK, there is a growing movement around biomimicry inspired design and process. Haveing organisations which act like natural organisms in an eco system. The business opportunities would be consultancy on how to do this - in terms of changing thinking which leads to more holistic behaviours in business.
    Specific consumer products/services that I’ve seen include:
    Solar panelled back packs which enable wearers to charge up laptops and mobile phones
    Local organic farming and cooperatives
    Car share schemes
    …and others

As low-carbon life involved in broad areas, basically, it involved in all aspects of human production and life, so some experts said, low-carbon will bring a big, global industrial revolution and social change, its impact more far-reaching than the second industrial revolution. As long as there be able to bring about a substantive contribution products to low-carbon which will be the business opportunity.Business opportunities also in everywhere in all aspects of low-carbon lifestyles. For example, green living products, green lifestyle; energy-saving products, garbage disposal and recycling and so on. From different angles, we will find a different green contribution, but also will generate business opportunities. .
    Green economic transformation create a large number of new jobs and new industry development opportunities. Therefore, the business opportunities in everywhere.whether levels of government to promote or market provide opportunities.
