My hometown, Montreal, hosted the Olympics in 1976, and tomorrow, August 8th 2008 the Beijing Olympics begin.
The 3 finger “Peace Plus One”Sustainability Symbol has become an enthusiastic supporter of the Olympics and many volunteers at the Olympics are now sharing the optimism and responsibility of Thinking Three Ways - balancing Society, the Environment and Economy.

I don’t know if I would call these the “Green Olympics”, maybe the one in 2010 in British Columbia. However, it is good that this attention is being directed at China - perhaps it will force them to be more environmentally responsible.
