Opening Day of EcoHome K11
A VERY informative exhibition opened today near the Ciqikou subway station.. called K11 ECOHOME - with areas devoted to the global crisis, architecture, eco art, solutions and model living spaces.
It’s all about SUSTANABILITY and even has an informative section with a triangle graphic describing the relationship of Society, Environment and Economy_\!/
The Hong Kong designed exhibit (in Chinese and excellent English) may be the best I’ve ever seen… right here in Beijing!
…and the Girls.. well, see for yourself- They’re sustainable_\!/
You’re not allowed to take photographs or videos of the exhibits, installations or art - but I got around the rules by handing the camera to one of the many, many young security guards, who forgot the rules when he had a chance to snap the pretty guides (and some Canadian guy standing with them 
The opening hours are 10:00 to 17:00, closed on Mondays.
Address 12 Guangqumen Neidajie, Chongwen District, Bejing, China (turn North 300 meters East of the Ciqikou Subway Station, line 5) telephone (8610) 87108558 - a maximum of 20 people are admitted in the building during each session, so you are encouraged to book one day in advance (groups 3 days in advance) but call ahead- I suggest you can probably just show up and get in with a group. There is NO PARKING so take a bike, subway or - walk!
