Shenzhen Dailies becomes first in China with Sustainability Symbol
Chinese Language newspaper “Shenzhen Special Zone Daily” and reporter Jennifer Fan become the first in Chinese Media to explain the meaning behind the 3 Finger Sustainability Symbol. The Shenzhen Earth Hour gathering was organized by James Baquet of Shenzhen Buzz, and Ranajit Dam, from Shenzhen Daily.
Philip McMaster, Principal Researcher with the McMaster Institute for Sustainable Development in Commerce was warmly welcomed to speak about the meaning behind the 3 finger Sustainability Symbol.
Around 60 young Chinese and a few foreigners gathered on Saturday evening in a beautiful downtown park in the city of Shenzhen, China’s first “Special Economic Zone” just north of Hong Kong.
