Sustainability Symbol introduced to International Eco-City Experts
World experts came together in Shenzhen China on March 7th and 8th to learn about the “New Radiant City” / Shenzhen Eco-City in the Southern China border city with Hong Kong.
The 10 experts participating in the forum included
- Rusong Wang, State Key Lab on Urban & Regional Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences
- Jens Krause, former State Secretary of Berlin, Germany, Honorary President of the German Societies of Architects and Engineers
- MENG Ta Cheang, Singapore Architect and consultant to Dutch, Chinese and Singaporean Universities, Governments and Industry.
- Zhiqiang Wu, Dean of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, Chief planner of World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China.
- Bin Lu, Professor and Head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University, Beijing
- David Greenberg, International expert in Eco-Architecture - Hawaii, California and Hainan Island China
- Quingji Shen, Professor of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University, Member of Ecological Society of China, International Association for Landscape Ecology, Vice Director of Urban Planning Society of China.
- Philip McMaster, Expert in Creativity, Innovation and Eco-Entrepreneurship, Lectured at HEC Montreal, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Chongqing Universities. Founder of EcoTaskForce, Principal Researcher for the McMaster Institute for Sustainable Development in Commerce.
- Fengrui Niu, Director of Urban Development and Environment Study Center, China Academy of Social Sciences. Award winning researcher and science and technology author.
- Ranier Pirker, Principal of rpa_X rainer pirker architeXture, winner of many national and international architecture and urban design competitions including “New Radiant City” Shenzhen Eco-City.
