3 FINGER WEDNESDAYS

THiNK SustainablyThe World Sustainability Project also includes recognizing every Wednesday as “3 Finger Wednesday” the day in the middle of the week, when we actively change our habits - review what we forgot to do, (or didn’t do sustainably), and plan to remember to act in a more sustainable manner until the next  Wednesday.  Through individual action, responsibility and constant self-improvement, we improve our lives, our community and our world.

On Wednesdays, you are asked to:

1. CHANGE YOUR IMAGE

2. CHANGE YOUR DIET

3. UNPLUG YOURSELF

1.) CHANGE YOUR IMAGE. Live a Lifestyle of Health And Sustainability (LOHAS) for at least 24hrs. Change your profile photo in social media (Facebook, MSN, RenRen) to your “3 Finger Photo”.. first, it will remind you to act sustainably, and plus some of your online friends will wonder why the change (good reason to chat and share the meaning of 3 Fingers), and others will be reminded Wednesday is the day we make an extra effort to balance our decisions between Society, Environment and Economy and review their own participation in trying to make our lifestyles more sustainable.

2.) CHANGE YOUR DIET. Eat less or no meat for one day a week. Waste less and drink more water. Try a healthier, more sustainable diet at least on Wednesdays.. try different things, spice up your life.. who knows, maybe any weight, health or skin problems will disappear!

3.) UNPLUG YOURSELF. Unplug unused appliances for at least 24hrs, save money and the planet. Shut off the TV and computer for at least an hour, and have an uninterrupted face-to-face conversation with someone, take a walk or fix something that needs regular, proper maintenance, like you.

Unplug Yourself

That’s it… that’s all you have to do on Wednesdays, just click your computer mouse to 1.) change your virtual image, 2.) improve your physical image with healthier eating, and 3.) save money and the environment by wasting less water and unplugging unused appliances and energy vampires.

No programs to download, no forms to fill, no expensive gyms, treatments or pills, it’s all free and guilt-free too!

Please tell the world in the reply box below, how YOU plan to share the 3 Fingers and 3 Finger Wednesdays with your friends and colleagues_\!/
