We are encouraging thousands of people to take a photo or make a video of themselves sharing the 3 Finger Sustainability Symbol, post it on the web (Facebook, Xiaonei, QQ, flickr, Youkou, YouTube etc.) and then register the URL of the photo at www.PeacePlusOne.com or www.PeacePlusOne.cn (a new beta website will be unveiled and tested on 3 Finger Wednesday)
Leading up to the COP15 Climate Change talks in December 2009, thousands of 3 Finger Photos will be displayed and viewed as a request to the leaders and negotiators assembling in Copenhagen to “Seal the Deal” with whatever it takes, including every country on Earth and even giving up developed world advantages and privileges and sharing our common planetary resources.
This effort includes ALL countries and citizens of the world as part of the solution.
It’s simple, but meaningful, and a way that virtually everyone on Earth (with access to a cameraphone) can participate in optimistically and peacefully, balancing and harmonizing our planet.
Here are young women from Xinhua News and the Business Environment Council, doing their part, in a video sharing 3 Fingers … and some recent conferences where 3 Fingers was introduced - Huaibei News (International Ecopolis Forum) and Xinhua News (Global Green Business Summit - 1:44sec.)
